About the Monarchs

Monarchs logoThanks for visiting the website of the Gulf Coast Monarchs, Southwest Florida’s premiere youth travel baseball organization.

The 2018-19 season is the sixth for the Gulf Coast Monarchs, Florida’s first team associated with the Michigan-based Monarchs organization founded in 2000 by Jim Desana. Combined, last season’s 10U, 11U and 12U teams amassed a 161-55-9 record, all against the top competition in the nation!

Now competing at the 10U, 11U, 12U and 13U levels, Monarchs players represent all of¬†Southwest Florida: Bonita Springs, Cape Coral, Estero, Fort Myers, Immokalee, Lake Mary, Lehigh Acres, Naples and Tampa. Our goal is to combine children’s raw abilities with proper baseball fundamentals, allowing them to develop their skills the right way. We aim to create an environment that promotes hard work, steady improvement and sportsmanship.

The Monarchs primarily compete in tournaments across Florida, but also have participated in high-profile out-of-state tournaments.

For sponsorship or scheduling opportunities, please contact Monarchs director/manager Aaron Lawson.
